...a bit of cyber ninja...I made him the classic ninja black mainly to try and distance him from the Grey Wolf of Metal Gear... but any cyber ninja is going to have some similarities to that character... eh?

Yeah, thought that comparison would pop up.
I don't know have much to do with the game but have seen the Grey Fox character in trailers etc. I reckon it'd be kinda hard to draw a high texh ninja with out having some similar traits to the MGS character...
