There's a lot to say about how the Vietnamese celebrate International New Years, yet little as well XD. My brain is fried so don't blame. I'll come back to add more information.
In any other case, Vietnam does celebrate Christmas AND International New Years as well as Lunar New Years that easterners tend to celebrate as well (what you people would probably call Chinese or Vietnamese New Years). All three are very big events in Vietnam (more so for Lunar) and there tends to be a lot of things you can do and see as a tourist. Especially in Ho Chi Minh City-- I would love to see the firework displays in there~ <3

Chuc Mung Nam Moi-- Basically 'Happy New Years!' in Vietnamese. I'm not entirely sure since I'm no expert at the language sadly
Correct me if I'm wrong. Especially on accents >.>
