Maybe far in the upper north-- I'm not entirely sure but generally, the overall weather is pretty warm considering it is in the area quite close to the equator. The only seasons that Vietnam usually expressed is monsoon season and the dry season (which is basically the time when monsoon is over or before monsoon is coming). Then again, my family lived in the south of Vietnam and they try to avoid talking about the north (for obvious reason-- I have nothing against them at this rate though), so I'm not sure how the weather is consider up there, but if we have to generalize the overall weather conditions in Vietnam-- it's pretty rainy and sunny. Much of the land is consist of rain forests in the first place.
And thank you! There is little information in concern towards Nyo!Vietnam so I try to make him as close as possible to his female self but different in a unique way. It's a bit difficult and I'm still working out the details, but I'm quite proud of how he turns out.
And you're Malaysian? How much do you know about Malaysia? I'm trying to gather more information about the Asian countries that are not introduced into the fandom for a few projects I wanted to do and Malaysia is a pretty interesting county itself. 0.0

Yes, I'm Malaysian. I have been writing stories about my country for a long time. I would like to tell you all about it but it's very long. It is an interesting country mix of cultures and all. But almost all of our languages are broken, slang. I also have been trying to do ASEAN. Maybe we could help each other with our countries

No problem ^^
Yeah, I'm very fond of my countries for many reason, but countries in the Southeast are fairly unknown in the hetalia fandom-- even with canon characters like Vietnam and Thailand. Himaruya barely touch on their culture or history (or none at all). I'm very interested in the characteristics of the other southeast Asian countries other than those two though. Philippines have been a very popular country to create among OCs and a lot of other southeast asia countries are being unearth. It's very exciting to learn about another's culture and country through these characters, even if they're not official and original on their own.
Your language is basically slang all together? It's called Malay, right? Can you write and speak it?
I would love it if you'll help me with any information I would need in concerning towards Malaysia! And I would provide as much information as I could about Vietnam. I can't say that I would be able to translate or write Vietnam (I'm one of those generation where I could understand Vietnamese when being spoken to, but I fail in writing and in respond back in Vietnamese OTL), but I do have family members who could at any time or day (kind of, maybe, depending).

Philippines and Indonesia are popular OCs of SEA. But Thailand and others not much love. Yup learning different cultures are nice.
All slang together is Bahasa Rojak. Malay and other languages are being turn into slang. English as well. Malaysia and Singapore are almost the same, can't really tell them apart from my pov. I would love to help with my country! Anything is fine as long politics and tragedies are not included.
We'll learn step by step. Your country's version of Let It Go is one of my favs, I love the voice of the singer.
Cultures of other countries are pretty interesting. I like is the Ao dai.
I'll start with basics
Apa khabar-how r u
But that is rarely used...usually we say hi straight. I'll spare more right after I get to my computer

Isn't it? Culture is what differ from each country and it's fascinating just learning them all (or attempting to)!!
Wow, really? That sounds quite diverse. Vietnamese is just Vietnamese though it's interesting how it had changed over the millennium.
Malaysia and Singapore are really close, huh? In more ways than one, they're also really close geographically. I could imagine them living in the same house XD
And don't worry, I'll keep away from politics. Tragedies-- I'll leave most of the angst to Vietnam for a while. XD
How would you describe Malaysians? Or Malaysia in general as a Hetalian character? Singapore too?
...I need to look that up!! That's the first I've heard of it!! Let It Go in Vietnamese? 0.0 The Vietnamese language was said to be musical (so I've heard from other people- I've heard it plenty of time whenever I'm counting 1-10 in Vietnamese to my friends; they kept saying it sounds like a song).
I like the Ao Dai as well. There's actually three different kinds of Vietnamese outfits (so far that I can see and as my family had described). One is for the north, the central, and the south. The ao dai is an outfit for the south I've heard.
Apa khabar... how would you pronounce that?
Xin Chao - hello (in a general term for people to people. Usually used to someone older than you. Can be used casually but its context depends on different regions in Vietnam. I've heard that the north usually cross their arms and bow their heads in order to show respect along with saying hello).

Yes, yes!
Indeed Malaysia and Singapore are multiracial countries. Yup they're close at least in hetalia. Since they cross borders most of the time, they have their own house there, yes, they do lived together when there's meetings going on. Singapore, the responsible one. Well they used to be living under the same roof for two years when Singapore's boss wants Malaysia and Singapore to become one. It was 1963 but it only lasted two years when Singapore split from Malaysia because of some reasons. But they're still close.
Malaysia, well, multilingual, able to speak several languages without breaking a sweat, durian lover, spicy food lover, fierce when she's mad, hospitable, friendly, cheeky, not very responsible unless situation calls for it, a bit of tsundere thanks to England, likes to speak manglish.
Singapore, well, I'll send u note about it. Along with the rest

Me too! It seems that Malaysia was quite big before it dwindle to its size as it is right now (unless I'm reading the maps wrong, then opps), and it makes me wondering if they have any actual interaction (historically and economically) with Vietnam. I would think that considering Vietnam is the #1 exporter for rice and Malaysia is such a big eater that a good percentage of their rice exports would go to Malaysia but I'm not sure really. xD
Nah, it's fine! My family tries to keep up with all the happenings in football! I love football myself and I get excited when Fifa comes in every four years! Don't worry about me being offended (or anyone else for that matter, it's kinda substandard for fans to be offended by the other's fans but there isn't really any hostile emotions so it's fine XD). Trust me, it's not your team's fault that Vietnam lost. We really do need to have a better goalie.

If rice exports I think that'll be Thailand. But when Vietnam shows interest in joining ASEAN and when Vietnam joined, welcomed by Malaysia warmly but that's after the Cambodia-Vietnam war according to wiki.
Ok. In Malaysia, we blame coach or players if we lost. Well the coaches are not to blame but the players. I think I got a comic about some Malaysianw heading to Vietnam on the way to London by bus. I'll note you afterwards.

Sorry I didn't replay sooner. I was contemplating whether I should answer back in vietnamese, but I knew that it would end badly if the conversation continues to be spoken in Vietnamese. I can understand Vietnamese when it's being spoken to me, but I somehow have the inability to speak back (well, not completely, but still). Unless it's food of any kind (including Vietnamese dishes), I can't read vietnamese as well.
I'm sorry, I failed my ancesors for being an incompetent Vietnamese .
I was born in Vietnam, but I came to America at a young age. I could speak Vietnamese well then, but my aunt quickly stuck me into a private pre-school so I can quickly pick up english easier. The english language was not my friend in those earlier days, but I got better. Though the end results became to where I barely have the ability to speak to my people . I could understand it at the very least OTL.
To answer your response -I had my parents translate it for me because I don't trust google translator- I do think Thailand is pretty fashionable. His taste t-shirts makes me question it sometimes XD (unless I somehow misunderstood my parent's explanation, there is a reason why I never have been taught Vietnamese either-- my family could not teach to save their life. Somehow, I was saved from that inheritance-- my brother could not say the same. My aunt tries, but she has this approach in where she thinks 'if I keep speaking Vietnamese to you, then you'll surely pick it up naturally'. It might have worked when me and my brother were young children but it's entirely lost on us as teenagers. Though to be fair, she had an eidetic memory when she was young so she probably expect the same of us for some reason...).

Viet-kun was never a fashionable person to begin with (at least, in my headcanon); he's more of a person who would wear practical clothes all the time even if it does not look best on him. Though in my opinion, he looks good in anything. XD If he does end up wearing something nice, it's probably more for formal reason than anything else (like meetings and so forth), but other than that, he often doesn't feel the need to dress up (especially in front of his 'family', he has even less reason to look nicely in front of them).
I was originally born in Vietnam, but came to America at a young age. Right from the tropical regions to the seasonal region of mid American XD.
Even though I wasn't in Vietnam long-- apparently, there is this deep-seated gene in my DNA where I cannot handle temperatures below the mid 70s and I always get these bewildered stares from my colleagues when I come outside above 90 degrees wearing a black jacket. They always ask if I'm okay or if I'm getting heat stroke yet. XD I've long concluded that I cannot conduct my own body heat like everyone else-- or not as much as anyone else at the very least. My brother is the opposite though *pouts*. He'll turn on the fan in the middle of the winter if he could.
My grandparents, who just recently came to America to live with us, probably has it worse though. XD We only have monsoon season and dry season in Vietnam so not much snow or cold winds (plenty of rain though).

I was born in Australia, but my parents are Filipino - so I'm not used to the humidity when I come to the Philippines. XD it's strange though - I don't mind hot or cold temperatures that much, I just can't handle places that are humid (I've been to Hong Kong, and oh boy...^^'). There is also a monsoon and dry season in the Philippines, too. 0w0

Yeah, it's nice to see him dress up once in a while (though most of the time, I bet one of his siblings *cough*Taiwan*cough* have to convince him to), but he wouldn't be Viet-kun if he wasn't wearing work clothes while going out in public. Do you imagine the work his more fashionable (Taiwan, Hong Kong, and Macau) siblings have to go through to make him look nice when he's going out on a date?
Taiwan: Aniki-- wear this!
Hong Kong: Euh, what's with the frills?
Taiwan: It's cute!
Hong Kong: On you. It'll look idiotic on aniki. Wear this instead Vietnam. *pulls out a leather jacket*
Taiwan: *makes a face* Really? On a date?
Hong Kong: It will look cool on him. His date will be impressed.
Taiwan: Yes-- if she likes road hogs! My choice of outfit is better!
Hong Kong: Well, my choice of outfit fits aniki better! He's a guy, not a girl!
Taiwan: This shows his sensitive side!
Hong Kong: Yes, because his date definitely expects aniki to be open on their first night. Let's not try and scare them away.
Taiwan: *puffs in indignation* It's not my fault aniki has a face as stiff as a board! This will compensate his blank expression!
Viet-kun: Oi...
Hong Kong: Sure, aniki has a face stiff as a board, but don't you think his date would look past that considering that -oh- he's actually going on a date?!
Viet-kun: Oi...
Macau: Now now, let's stop fighting. I don't think neither outfits are appropriate for a first date. Both have a strong impression and we need something subtle yet nice.
Taiwan: ... I know this great dress shirt in aniki's closet!
Hong Kong: ...and I think there are these pair of slacks somewhere in aniki's drawers.
Macau: Excellent! I'll acquire the appropriate jacket that would make his shoulders look broad and his waist a bit more slimming.
Viet-kun: Oi! Can't I pick my own clothes for my own date!?
Taiwan, Hong Kong, and Macau: NO.
Or something like this. I need to start writing again...
The place where I live is usually pretty dry (we're recovering from a drought), but whenever there is a rare time where humidity comes into the weather report, it never really bothers me. I'm not sure why, but I like the humidity at times XD.
I'm not surprise that the Philippines has a monsoon and a dry season too. Vietnam and the Philippines do live very close to the equator and their seasons should be very similar too.
