I don't listen to Green Day much anymore but this song popped up on my iTunes and I was suddenly inspired. I've always liked the song despite how overplayed it is..oh well.
Been awhile since I submitted anything and I'm still not very good at using photoshop but I continue to learn new things. This is the result of lots of experimenting and I don't think it failed too bad.

Oh boy... okay, so I just got out of physics, so excuse me if the following comment is not in any way intelligent or coherent:
Essentially, I agree with Jonny: this really is one of your best so far. The perspective and shading are awesome. I especially like the denim jacket and the Van Gogh-esque sky. Very lovely, very lovely.
And as for the sad v. lonely debate (haha, I always read all the comments), I understand what you mean. Although to me the song does feel sad, I do think that being lonely is not necessarily a bad thing; sometimes you just need to be alone. Perhaps what mortal-rot is debating is the difference between loneliness and aloneness, because I suppose the two do have different connotations.
In any case, I'm not sure what I'm talking about anymore. Great work, as usual, although I do need my tablet back at some point lol.

I really like this one too, I invented a new awesome shading style for it. I gave up on that discussion about the song though cuz we were kinda both right in our own respects.
Oh and I'm holding your tablet for a ransom. If you ever want to see it alive again leave 10,000 dollars in my locker by next friday.

although how does the song fit the pic? other than hes literally WALKING down a lonely road. what im getting at is he doesnt look sad so much as he looks creeped out, it doesnt fit, sorry

being lonely is a negative thing associated with other negative emotions.

I really do like to draw a ton of stuff in addition to foxes but I'm too lazy to post most of it cuz then I'd have to color it all. I take forever to color stuff plus my scanner is currently on its deathbed so it doesn't work.

Hahaha well i guess the problem isn't the comp its the scanner. I'm broke and can't get a new one so unless a scanner falls out of the sky I'm stuck. And it fell out of the sky it would break when it hit the ground anyway.

it would break once it hit the ground, unless you tried to catch it. but then it would probably hit your head and give you some kind of concussion so im not sure it would be worth it
well if you need money you could always do commissions here on this happy site(remember big boobs sell!)
