Description Hey everyone!

Here's another painting I'd like to share with you guys. Another lady with a big cannon. Still fiddling around with some ideas for the story where someone would need weapons this big... what are they hunting?? How do they pick that up??? !?!?!?!

The mecha pooch is her pack mule more or less. I was also thinking of doing another one where there is an attachment to mount the cannon on for ease of use.

Took my sweet time with this one and I'm pretty satisfied with the result. We'll see what the next step is.

Those red eyes really stand out with the green. Although you described it as a pack mule, it looks profoundly dangerous.

I know, it's been ages. I've been okay I guess. Money's just been tight lately so my computer access is a bit on and off. Trying to get back into the swing of things again. My artistic motivation was placed into a more physical form for a while so my tablet collected dust for a while. Hopefully I'll have something up soon (that isn't just a quick paint) to see whether or not observation helped me improve without practice, haha! You?

mmmm hang tough man! Good to hear that you're still pluggin away at the arts. Can't let the skills get rusty no matter your situation.

I've been pretty good. Finished up school in June and moved to LA. Been doing freelance and working on a theme park right now. Havin fun and doin a ton of art.

Is SDL still active??

Awesome. SDL is still running, but I'm not sure about how active it is. I may still hop in just because there were a few comics set in the SDL lore I never got around to doing and it'll give me an excuse to draw comics again. I drew those profile pics but never got around to finalizing the join.

the LMG is a bit to big for her. Unless she's and undercover out of armor Halo Spartan she shouldn't be able to pick that thing up. But i'm sure Jeorge would like this

I don't know...I don't even make sense to myself (fail ) what I was trying to say is that the gun has to much mass for her to be able to pick up. Even if she was wearing Halo spartan Mark VI armor it would be to heavy to pick up. (as much as Halo Reach's spartan II/III Jorge-052 wouldnt be able to pick that thing up.) The size of the gun makes it only usable as a mounted machine gun on a platform similar to the Flak88 AA gun. Then again anime characters have over sized guns and swords...

O.O well there yeah go...that should fix the weight issue, but what about the recoil...and if the gravity cancelers fail due to an EMP gernade (assuming there electric)...

well thats easy.... they have to live on a planet without metall ressources in the earth but on big ass monsters only... so they have to hunt big monsters to make big guns to kill bigger monsters to make bigger.... you get the idea^^
