forgot to post this last night O_Owhile at work and after some talks with friends I had been inspired on drawing the 'dark god' of Earth4.
I wanted something that both looked more menancing and less super villian than Darkside. So I took a look at a one old friend and one tg war person.
Solaris has perhaps a new friend?
enter Darkside, whom can cause great destruction, but his omega beams compared to the original do not distintegrate, they corrupt and bring out a persons darker emotions and desires.
(allowing him to feed off the good that just got 'burnt off' )
what do you all think? Good villian?

It's pretty much like the Anti-Life Equation. I have always seen Darksied as a champion of Death and Condemnation, we'll have to talk for me to totally explain it.

Burns off good?... hmmm. Curious what resistance there is to that, stat wise? Like, I figure it wouldn't work on Dove as an agent of Order (practically drawing off unlimited 'good' in some senses), while some mystic defenses seem like they would be effective.
Also, I wonder how many times he's regretted making a target of his beam evil.

I actually like the classic Darksied look. This guy on the other hand seems like some kind of... pokemon, Frieza, mustache hybrid roman. He's kind of all over the place.

Indeed it is a good villian. But the question rises up, what if there was no goodness in the person who was hit with the Omega Beam?

Or if it hits Jay, or one of the major villians, not including Hatter. He's a decent villian, but he is a bit lacking.

Heck yes. Corruption is a much worse fate than disintegration. If you get snapped out of the corruption, you`ll be doubting yourself for a long while.
