According to Japanese mythology, Amaterasu is the goddess of the sun.
In my depiction, she has taken the form of a lion. With her white coat representing the white light when looking directly at the sun, and her coloured tufts representing light.
Amaterasu has a resin face and claws that are an original sculpture hand crafted by me.
Her eyes, nose and paws were then meticulously full furred by hand and painted with acrylic paints. The body was designed and sewn by me using the softest and most exquisite faux fur. Amaterasu is approximately 30 x 60cm head to tail.
Amaterasu is completely poseable, she has a wire armature that is wrapped in polyfill so he is very soft.

Hours of work goes into my dolls, all items are hand crafted and are original. I use only high quality materials so I can produce the best quality pieces.
