So sometime last week, or the week before, I'm not quite sure anymore I've lost my sense of time a while ago... or just recently, maybe? Not unlike The Flash here. Hey hey, how's that for an awesome segway?

Anyway, yeah, back to the pseudo-story-explanation. I had recently come across the song The Ballad of Barry Allen by Jim's Big Ego while visiting a message board I go to asking about songs with themes around superhero/comic book characters.

Admittedly I had heard the name of the song many times before since threads like that usually resurface every couple of months but it wasn't until recently that I had actually listened to the song. To my surprise, it was pretty good. Most songs about superheroes are usually done to mock them but this one was really well thought out. I had liked The Flash before but after listening to this song it made me like him even more not because he's "so totally awesome" but because of how tragic the song makes him out to be. What can I say? I'm a sucker for tragic heroes.

And to be totally honest, even if you have no idea who Barry Allen is or even The Flash, its a great song nonetheless... unless you're extremely closed off to different types of music XP I actually wouldn't be surprised if this song alone could sell The Flash movie to non-comic book fans.
