"what is that thing Navi?!"The digital version of an sketch I did about four weeks back. I had recently been playing through the Shadow temple on the nintendo 3ds. I then drew this, which came out pretty good considering it's the first time I've ever drawn a deadhand and I had drawer's block.
Any Zelda fan should know who this guy is. He's the scary guy that freaked out so many little kids when they played the bottom of the well on the old nintendo 64. You end up having to verse two of these guys near the end of the game. Don't you just want to go up and give him a hug? Well, before he bites your head off anyway.
I did something new with the color. I hope you guys noticed and can tell me what you think of it.

It's amazing the stuff Nintendo get's away with. Those things were bad but they got away with so much in Majora's mask.

I think the Shadow temple is so much more scarier then anything in MM. When I play them I was more scared to go into that temple then do anything in MM. But thats just me. Nintendo, I dont think, was very strict with there rating like they are today. Because back then Parents didnt care. XD

I think it was the opposite. Parents cared back then but not so much now because its everywhere.
Plus the shadow temple is one dungeon. MM has you saving the world from Armageddon while the whole game represents the five stages of grief. All the people that you help become undone when you play the song of time. Romani is a great example. On the final night before the moon crashes, her sister was going to let her drink the equivalent of alcohol and sleep in her sisters bed with her. Romani's sister did this so that the girl would be asleep and blissfully unaware of the moon crashing. Even the kafei side quest. You do all that to help bring them together and they spend the last few minutes remaining so they can die together.
So yes, I think MM got away with a lot more then oot . Plus Ikana and stone tower were creepy.

Oh yeah. I understand all of that as well. I know there was a lot of sad death with the game and grief. But when I was little and this game came out I really didn't understand every thing that was going on. It was very settle on how down and depressing this game was. But when I was 9 all i really understood was that i went back and time and all my hard work was for nothing. The only thing that scared me was the Moon and Majora himself. OoT I was so much more scared of the Shadow temple. Maybe it was because I was younger. But I do agree that not that I'm older MM is much more Darker then I thought.
Im surprised they didn't change the rating now!

oh i remember this guy the only things that scared me the most in the game was this guy and the re-dead but the game rocks and i beat it and it rocks!
