There was no other choice but to use "Magic" in the title.
Anyway, here is Twilight Sparkle's Sonic character form, finally finished! A fox, naturally. Someone as clever as Twilight could be nothing else. I'm certain I nailed transferring her individuality over, too.
The background was definitely the hardest part here, but I love what it came to be. Bonus interwebz points to anyone who noticed a certain thing I did with the colors of the stars/magic-light-things.
Now... Applejack or Rainbow Dash? I have the animals in mind for both.... so....

Not 100% sure, but the stars are the same as the colors of the chaos emeralds. Its a fairly good design, though I don't know about the shorts.
As for the quality of the drawing itself, Her left foot seems a tad..bubbly. There doesn't seem to be a bottom portin to it. It is simply round. Her chest is making her seem top heavy, I don't know if is the size of the bosom or if its the length of the torso.
Colors are good and design is quite nice. Perhaps using pink for the shorts rather than a dark puple would make the light teal of the sweater (which I love) less stark.

Finally, the stars aren't the chaos emerald colors. Hint: Only look at the five surrounding stars' colors (not the one's near her finger). Twilight's fur color completes the set.

Why would she change species in the Sonic universe.Β Are there no ponies on Mobius? I absolutely ADORE Foxes, but really ... *shrugs* Whatever.

While I am sure their are ponies on mobius, I also change species for my own personal characters. Mostly because ponies on mobius are exceptionally difficult to draw without them looking awkward or as a hedgehog ripoff. With so many species open, why not play around

Yeah, that's the thing... a fast bird--that one especially--would be the fitting choice... I'm just not particularly fond of how beaks look on mobians. But I could just be thinking of the Babylon Rouges too much... since Bean's adorable.
Wings on pony is justified a la pegasi, but I'm curious... what would you think of any other winged land-mammal?Β
