It's 5 AM and I'm still awake. I'm dead tired, but I don't want to sleep. My parents are already awake to go to work. XD;UHH. I need to redo this. I did the lineart a long time ago, but I stopped. Then I realized I could use it for the Ichi_Ruki LiveJournal Community's Calendar Project. I was randomly assigned September. It fits cuz September is school time for most and they're in their uniform... for now. XD;; And... It's also the month of my Birthday. w00t.
It was due on the 20th, but I was still stuck in the Philippines [long story] so I rushed to finish it now so it can be turned into a Calendar before September starts. I don't like it so I hope to redo the coloring and background soon. u___u;

EDIT: Whoa. So many Comments and Favorites already. o.o; Anyway, I did realize Rukia is too long/tall than she should be, but it'd look kinda look weird making her shorter. Uhh... Growth Spurt? XD;;

I use Open Canvas 1.1 for the Lineart and most of the detail in Rukia's hair. Then PhotoShop CS to color it, then added textures to the entire picture.

ahh... i love how so many people agree with the ichiruki concept... it's WAY better than ichihime *shudders at the mentioning of that pairing and washes out mouth with soap* eww...
Anyway! I was really impressed by this... you are the first one I've seen to draw Rukia (with her growth spurt... tee-hee) in the NEW school uniforms... usually everyone (including me) goes for the old look... But I like the new outfit on her better actually... so.. umm... Great Job!

Rukia looks a bit huge for her size though, but it still looks adorable. I'm probably too used to seeing a smaller or should I say 'shorter' Rukia.
