You are very welcome If this is one of your worst examples, then I'm kinda scared to see one of your best...
My mind just might break trying to comprehend that level of skill But I will just have to take that risk and check out your other work. I love pretty much every kind of art, but this style has always been particularly fascinating to me. The amount of effort and dedication it must take to create such a realistic drawing is insane. Adding every little line and dot just so, in order to form the whole picture, must require a great deal of patience and practice. I'm looking forward to viewing the rest of you gallery. Hahaha, yeah, I don't really know anyone who watches Supernatural, so thank God for the Internet!! I'd be all alone in my Supernatural love otherwise XD

I so wanna draw the impala again. Man, I love that car. But other people on dA have already drawn it as good as it's gonna get, so I probably won't... I don't know, whatever. xD;

YES. The actors are amazing, and since they're best friends, and they live together, their chemistry really transfers to the show. Out of everything I love about Supernatural (and my god is there a lot to love) their chemistry, and the brothers' relationship is the best part, hands down. It's the reason everyone should watch it.

I'm glad you think I captured that, especially in this piece, since it was my first fanart of the show, and I'd loved the show for a long time before I tried to draw something for it... thank you.

you so welcome! i saw it and my mouth just dropped open. i am a huge fan...season 4 is just torturing me...with sammy...BLAH! did you see last week's episode?! i was almost having horrendious nightmares!

the impala is a character all on its own. you should draw it if you want to. it doesn't matter if others have done it. if you want then do it, because from what i've seen of you art, it will be amazing!

the actors are amazing. i am so addicted to the show its kinda sad...my waking hours are of nothing other than jensen and jared.

YES, I saw last week's. I've been streaming it as it airs in the US, instead of waiting for it to air here... my god, I can't believe there are only two episodes left of this season. I'm dying. When Sam bit the demon, man, I gasped out loud. I don't think I blinked for the entire last ten minutes. XD

Yeah, you're right... I should draw it for me, if I would have otherwise. I just have this thing about drawing stuff other people have drawn, and it's hard for me to do it if I think it won't be at least as good as their version. That's probably dumb.

Ahahaha, same here. I'm so obsessed with this show. If I didn't have a creative outlet for it, like if I couldn't make fanart, I think my head would splode.

LOL. last week....gah! sammmy better not....he better stay away from those demons...especially RUBY...or i will have to do somethign not very nice...

i think each person has a different stlye and brings something different to a piece when they draw fan art or whatever...no two are exactly the same

i've been dying to try and draw my two sexy heart throbs...but i've just been drawing other stuff, but once the one i am working on is finished...oh i will be able to unleash my love for those men onto soemthing tangible....i am excited just thiking about it. i have the perfect picture of jensen ackels...and a nice one of jared too! then there's CASS! he is so awesome...

Seriously? =_= It's so messy. My last couple attempts at this style were way neater, but I really can't tell if that's a good thing... I think I just need more practice (but I guess at the same time, no matter how much I like this style, some images will suit it and some would look better neat and smooth like yours).

Man, I'm so ungrateful today. Really, you don't know how happy you just made me, 'cause I lost count of how many times I'd sit and just look through your gallery and be totally in awe while getting those "I need to draw better" stomach cramps.

Uh... and I'm not always so neurotic and analytical. Just FYI. XD I'm just having a weird day.

Honestly I think your style of art is different from my style, even though it's realism, but that means you have your own beautiful technique. So, I really don't understand why you get that "I need to draw better" feeling if you look at my stuff, since, like I've said before, I very much like your work (and I mean really really really like your work!).
I think your sketches are better and way more precise than mine, I wish I could get them look so neat too! If I draw small images, for some reason I find it very difficult to make them look right.



So are you a fan of the SPN series too?

I agree completely, our styles are very different. I'm very aware of how grainy and high-contrast my drawings usually are. And that's probably because I don't blend. XD;; I should learn how sometime. So anyway, I try to avoid large areas where shading is needed and because of that my faces tend to have a lot of white in them. I mean, I like the way it looks, too. And somehow it's become my signature style that my friends seem to recognise. But it'd be nice if I did it because I wanted to, and not because I don't know any other way to draw well. So I really admire how smooth and consistent your shading always is, and how you don't shy away from using a bazillion shades of grey in each drawing. And even with that relative low contrast, you still get the details to stick out instead of fading into the background. I hate you, leave me alone.

OMG YES. When I first started realism, I was drawing portraits on really tiny spaces, like 3x4", and while I was developing ability to add more detail and render more textures, I found that I could use bigger paper and still be able to fill it up. So I started using A3 about a year ago, and it feels freakin' humongous. It takes ages to finish, drawing that big. So then doing those little SPN scenes is great, 'cause it's forcing me to practice again with doing a real portrait the same quality as fullsize, but crammed into a little space.

Ahahah, yes, I'm a fan. Understatement. I spend way more time thinking about/watching that show than is healthy. 8D Which means I'm gonna carry on drawing it, too. I really, really wanna draw the Impala again. But a big pretty portrait of it this time. And Dean again. And Bobby. And Ash. And Dean. And Sammy again. And Dean a few more times after that.

Thank you! 8D I've been looking for a cool twist to add to realistic and non-original pieces, so the comic strip scene thing is definitely something I'm gonna keep using. In fact I was about to go start another one in the next few minutes...

I should do more! I mean, most of the stuff I do is traditional (I only did one digital painting in 2008) but I still need to do more. One drawing every month or two isn't fattening up my portfolio very quick. -_-;
