time for another ship this time Vanguard and Io cause I haven't drawn them in ages and their relationship is just adorable, if they happen to step out of their roles and habits for a bit X3 Vanguard will follow Io like her own shadow and protect her at all cost, not letting emotion take his focus off his duty - but there are those little moments when things suddenly seem like so much more

and yes, Vanguard is huge, he's the biggest ground-bound mech I have ( the main ref doesn't show the right sizes simply because they were originally made to be sold as adopts and not made to be a pair)
