another scribble I did a while ago - the resolution is kinda small and it took me a while to find a simple coloring that fit the moment
Teddy all tiny with her female creator - wanted to draw that for ages
when it comes to baby-robots and such I'm not one to follow the robo-pregnancy idea - doesn't fit for me. But I like the idea of the newly created spark needing different sorts of frames throughout their live - as in a new spark wil need a small frame to initially stabilize and the first programs and routines to settle in. With time programs will get complexer, robot lerns and so on and at some point the bot will get a bigger frame according to their mental age and stability. I usually go with three stages in my headcanon.
Teddy has a weak spark and will never get beyond a certain mental ability and will never get a fully adult frame but she's cuter anyways with her teeny form XD

Ah, so beautiful. My theory is somewhat similar... What's your idea on how the spark begins (from the Well, etc)? I wonder where Teddy's mother is right now...

In my headcanon a spark is created by overcharged energy of at least two adult bots when they 'like' each other enough and have some alone time 
Teddy's mom vanished shortly after Teddy got her first frame during an enemy attack and is considered dead.

I always have mixed ideas when it comes to lil baby bots. My fav is as you mentioned a spark that received new bodies as needed ans has to start small . Though my second fave is them being born with super tiny fragile protoforms that armor/framing gets added too and requires the carrier to consume extra materials to create. the second option usually comes up more as a reason to explain femme frames as opposed to mech frames more room for a protoform to grow (not that mechs can't carry it's just less roomy)
ANYWAY back to your actual arts.. Damn that is a cute baby bot. Always great to see such organic feelings coming from inorganic creatures

This is a beautiful piece, I really like the colours and whatnot
I tend to go by the same head cannon, though for me, bots don't have biological sexes so it's all to do with the spark. But I find the idea of a 'pregnant robot' in the human sense of the word to be a bit ridiculous, things like this make much more sense XDΒ

I don't mind Transformers making out and getting it on like humans might do, I draw mine doing naughty things as well
in my headcannon two bots can create a new spark out of theirs and create a frame for it - but that's just me

she's not a predacon ^^ this is her cybertronian form and her wings fold like wings when not in flight
