Here's the main costumes that we all wore to Anime Expo 2010 this year! I couldn't sit on them anymore, and unfortunately, it might be a while before we can get any official pictures of them. v_v I found this one that someone took of us, though! If this is your picture, please let me know, so I can give you the proper credit!!

About the costumes (get ready for a rant):

This Sora and Riku are my and ~lazy-neko-cosplay 's original designs for what Sora and Riku might look like in the world of Atlantis: The Lost Empire! Sora would of course, be on the hero's side; that of Milo Thatch and 1914 America! Riku, with his silvery, long hair would definitely fit in better as an Atlantean! We tried to incorporate things from the movie into both outfits and keyblades. Sora has lots of gears and machinery, as well as goggles (xD She kept getting "OMG Steampunk Sora!!" all day, which wasn't entirely innacurate, I suppose) while his base outfit looked more like a suit.
Riku's outfit was more loosely based on his very modernistic KH2 outfit, but incorporated the same colors and general placement, then with Atlantean writing, such as the symbol for "A" on the front panel. We also tried to paint on the light blue tattoos that the Atlanteans have in the movie, but the paint ended up being basically see-through silver. xP A major part of Riku's costume that can't be seen in this picture is the back "cape" consisting of two panels and a design I based off of Riku's own "Way To The Dawn" keyblade. xD But hopefully we'll have pictures of that someday soon. >w>

On the keyblades:

Sora's was crafted with all manner of materials, but some of the things involved were: wire, Styrofoam, pvc pipe, a fan propeller, craft foam, metal, wood, and a metal basket. xD She made it all herself and was quite proud of it, for good reason! My favorite parts were the gears that made the prodruding key part (unfortunately not very well seen in this shot), and the handle which was a stick of TNT, with the keychain at the end. xDD Riku's keyblade was crafted almost entirely out of foam core, and used EL wire embedded into it to light up, like the stones of Atlantis did in the movie! The "A" can be seen on the protruding key part again, and I tried to make the symbols as Atlantean as possible. xD;

And last, but definitely not least--do you recognize that figure on the right? You should, because that's the Organization XIII Moogle!! *SadinaSaphrite got the epiphany to do the little Moogle seen in 358/2 Days that sells things to the Organization (affectionately dubbed "the OrgMoogle") and she did an awesome job with it! xD Watch out, though, that Moogle's a bit of a swindler...

So if you got through all that, wow!! xD Thanks for listening! We worked really hard on these costumes, and were so ecstatic when we got a Judge's Choice Award for them! It was amazing~
