Sometimes you just want to be able to feel something.

Supplies used: 11x14 inch Canvas Board, Posca Paint Pens, Acrylic Paint, Paper, Glitter, Mod Podge.
The Process: Painted the canvas black. Added white and blended it into the black, giving it light in certain areas. I then added washed down white paint where I wanted the lightning to go. Next I added a little bit of blue to the white for a better glow effect.
Taking a white Posca pen I go over the white and blue glow to make the lightning more detailed, while also adding stars with the same pen. I then cut some black paper into strips, before I wrote on them in silver Posca pen. I put a small layer of Mod Podge on the back of each piece of paper, before tacking it down to the canvas.
Finally, I add glitter all around the lightning.
I also added two layers of matte Mod Podge later on.
