Cat (Felis silvestris catus)This is Smoky, the sick, abandoned cat who showed up in our backyard in April 2007, and has been living with us since then.
About the same time, a young tomcat also appeared in our backyard and stayed with us for about 5 months, until a vigilant neighbor called the Animal Control and he was taken away...
A bit of trivia: cats have four rows of 3 whiskers on each side. In total they have 24 whiskers.

its like you can see the whole world inthsoe eyes, how did u manage to get a snapshot of her like that, everytime i tried he ran away or wouldnt sit still XD

She usually doesn't sit still on the rare occasions when I want to photograph her, but I managed to get a couple...

I love all animals, but I don't photograph cats or dogs because there are already a million images with pets on dA...
I prefer to show animals that most people don't usually see.

im same way thats why all animals i get they usually abused animals and i care for them...for a few months i even had a animals shelter a few years ago but i just couldnt afford to mantain...but got homes for 35 cats and 2 dogs
