Hello..Wow, long time since the last post!
This Illustration is a portrait of a great idol for many brazilians (me included): Ayrton Senna, the legendary F-1 Driver.

Além do que, o Ayrton Senna é o melhor piloto de F1 de todos os tempos.
Uma pena que você tenha colocado essa sua imagem em um tamanho menor e com marca d'água.
Se um dia mudar de idéia, peço que remova a marca d'água e, se possível, disponibilize em uma resolução maior.

Bonito, este deixou saudades, para mim nunca mais a formula um foi a mesma, tanto é que não assisto mais, pois perdeu carisma, perdeu emoção, na época do Senna cada corrida era algo emocionante, quantos lances sensacionais que nos tiravam o fôlego, ele nos fez acreditar que mesmo não tendo tanto recurso ainda podemos fazer a diferença, pois ele mesmo não tendo o melhor carro, como foi no início de sua carreira, pode ainda assim fazer a diferença, e ele o fez, por isto ele se tornou inesquecível. Parabéns pela sua arte, ficou muito bom, e lá vai a pergunta, dá para dizer aqui em qual programa você fez?

é a F-1 se tornou previsível demais. Na época do Senna o que vimos hoje começou a ser ensaiado com a Williams do Nigel Mansell, mesmo assim outras equipes ainda tinham chance. E hoje tem dia tem outra questão: O piloto além de ter certo talento (não precisa ser excepcional) tem que ter um financiamento... Eu tb não acompanho a F-1 como antigamente..rsrsrs

He was crazy...he took risks. Some didn't pay off, but when he was at his peak level of performance, his was a genius.

Senna overtook 4 cars in the first lap. The background history was that the track didn't have many points to overtake cars (as some critics said) and the Williams cars were almost unbeatable, Senna had one only chance to take the lead at the start, before the Williams team start their teamwork and keep the first positions until the finish. I remember I was 3 years old, watching this on TV, it was great!

It really is incredible...I remember hearing that 1993 was considered Senna's best year, but I didn't know about this. I also remember hearing that Senna had a knack for racing in the rain.

yeah he was really good in the rain.
Senna had to try his best this year, just because the Williams cars were perfect, with all the technologic stuff (active suspension, gear in the steering wheel) and the renault engines. Even trying this best, he couldn't beat the Williams and decided to leave McLaren.

And if I remember correctly, when he signed with Williams the new rules prohibited the computerized suspension and other technological aspects, so he was stuck with a car that he didn't like. Right?

yeah, the Williams got back to the normal after the new rules. McLaren got stuck in time and Senna didn't want to use a worse car, he wanted to be a champion again. Also, some journalists said that Senna had a wish to work with Frank Williams because he was one of the supporters in the start of Senna's career in F-1.
