Thanks for the comment! I actually noticed the "floating" problem a bit too late. It didn't seem as drastic until after I added the Paint Daubs filter, but then I flattened it out and exited CS3 before I realized how bad it looked. The only PSD save file I kept was way back toward the beginning, when I cut the woman out of the stock photo. Guess I should always save the PSD before I flatten. Still, I'm happy enough with it.

I've been fine, dear. Really, there hasn't been much new. I'm still writing and photoshopping. The more I read, though, the more I criticise my own work, so I fear I haven't gotten far. And after 20 rejections or so (not counting the agencies that didn't bother replying), I've been slacking on looking for representation for my gothic love story. Why must it be so hard! I just want someone to read it and tell me whether or not it's crap. Is that too much to ask?

So...why just the "alive" status? Doesn't sound very promising.

It's awlays a struggle isn't it? I always feel so inferior when I read something spectacular. I really hope that you keep with it and don't allow yourself to be knocked back, you really do have such talent. Best of luck with it!

Oh, I've just been in a dark place lately. Been having a few run-ins with the woman that broke my heart, well, more like destroyed it to be honest, and been trying to keep on top of my work and really just a complete explosion of my emotions.
