Description
This is a long overdue commission for a fellow Zappa enthusiast...It's populated with cute aquatic FZ references to tie in with the title, which is also a Zappa track.
I tried to go for a look similar to one of his cheesy little photo-shoots such as [link] and [link] , where he kind of has an arrogant look about him, despite being in slightly ridiculous surroundings...or in underpants.

And started in to whippin' on my favorite baby seal
With a lead filled snowshoe!
That got me just about as evil as an eskimo boy can be

The deadly yellow snow from right there where the huskies go
Where upon I proceeded to take that mitten full

I love it man. Hot rats, yellow shark, etc. The patterns in his hair and on his clothes are fabulous. What an awesome homage to the greatest musician ever to grace humanity... "Spider of Destiny" would be an interesting title to work with.

Yeah, it was a pretty small venue, I doubt there were more than maybe 300 people there. Festival seating...on the floor...no less. Pot smoke so thick you could cut it with a knife.
We got there early. I can remember him coming out and doing a sound check. The place was called the "Paradise Ballroom", and he's singing..."Gee, look at these cheesy chandeliers" for his sound check.
Zappa comes out and starts playing. Man, he was fast. Everybody thinks Eddie Van Halen is fast. I think Zappa was faster.
There were these "clotheslines" strung above the stage with various womens undies hanging from them. At one point Zappa says "The band is gonna make a quilting project with 'em...any ladies wishing to contribute may do so at any time." .... so periodically there are these panties, etc., flying out of the audience up onto the stage.
He also didn't put up with any crap from the audience. I remember somebody acting up and he just stopped the band until the guy decided to behave.

That's just awesome. The Dennil Floss bushes, Yellow Shark reference (i'm guessing), and i love the Waka/Jawaka sink floating down there...

When I saw this I wondered if it was Frank Zappa (it was the moustache). Years ago, I think I was maybe 19, I had occasion to see him in concert. He was one heckuva guitarist.
