I understand. You can ask of course, no problem. If I have time I answer Β But I have to say that it is not about the brushes. You have to find your own you are familiar with. My brush set can work for me but the same brush set could be useless for the others. But in general it is simple - a) sketch brushes (one or two), b) few ordinary bruhes you like (like chalk) - 2 or more (with some nice soft texture) - could be used for general painting, you should be able to paint almost everything with it, c) few hard brushes for filling big parts very fast (not important, but very handy to have one or two), d) few shading brushes (could be used for blending as well), e) few texture brushes (for rocks, grass, mess,...), f) special brushes - for example cloud brushes (2 or three). A,B,D (C maybe) are most important. But B category should contain brush which you can paint almost everything with (sketching, painting, texturing a bit, blending, shading... if you know what I mean).
Find one or two most favorite brushes. Then you should learn to paint with your brushes and learn painting techniques. It is not about brushes. Technique is more important. Someone likes to start from BW then to color. Someone likes to go straight for colors I like to strat with BW sometimes, when I am going to paint something more comlpex. It is more efective because you can control your values. There are so many styles and techniques you can choose from

I see. Man itβs hard. I wish there were one brush to rule them all! Do you remember Borodanteβs video where he makes his brush for Artstudio Pro. He said that it was the best brush for everything. Do you think itβs a good brush for everything? Should it only be used in wet painting mode? I find wet painting mode kinda hard cause my paintings usually ends up in a mess when I use that mode. :/

Borodanteβs brush is perfect example of what I wrote before. This brush works perfectly for him, but not for me. And this is it. It is not a bad brush, but I dont use it because I have my brushes which cover my need much better. Juliano oil texture brush is much better for wet paint I think. I use it very often - I changed its texture only. It is very good for developing values.Β
Very good overal brush should look like the second brush here:
