I have to disagree on the part where "everyone should be impressed with the way they play"... Yes, I think everyone should be proud of what they do, but they shouldn't overdo it. I do think he is an excellent player, but maybe not the best person.

I do think he is an excellent player, and that is one of the reasons a lot of people don't like him, because they don't like it when he, along with the Pats, beat their team, and he is probably tied, in my opinion, for the best QB at the current time along w/ Peyton Manning.

he didnt really have the greates players when he one his 3 super bowls i mean dieon branch won superbowl mvp because tom brady new what to look for. He wins super bowls with out alll the tools and then you give him randy moss and wes welker and he breaks record upon record. ( i know he los the superbowl so u dont have to rub my face in it). Yeah, I respect the Patriots as a good team. I think they are one of the only football teams that strikes fear into the hearts of all oppenents. They are one of the only teams that I expect the Colts to lose against.

They are both great teams with awesome QB's, good players, and amazing coaches. It was a amazing win for the colts this year. I really thought we were going to lose.

After reading this argument... I just have to say this:
Both teams should be respected and feared. If a team goes up against either the Colts or the Patriots, they prepare like it's the Super Bowl. Manning is a great quarterback as is Brady. Everyone compares the two quarterbacks and teams like one is obviously better than the other. It all comes down to personal opinion, loyalty, and which aspects you include in "greatness" (Super Bowl rings... MVP awards... Pro Bowl appearances...etc.).

Yes, Brady is not to be reckoned with or either is Manning. Both are great and I'm sure each of them has had their good and bad performances but you also have to look at the teams because a QB can't throw to himself or tackle 300+lbs. As I look at it, you can like whoever you want, its a free country, but just be nice to other teams otherwise it's gonna come back and bite you in the butt, like when the team from Baltimore wasn't being nice to the Colts. Wouldn't even call the Colts the"Colts" on their scoreboard, just"Indy" and guess what happened. Yep, they lost. Sorry about my ranting...what team do you root for? I root for the Colts and then I root for the Saints.

I agree about needing to be nice to the other teams. I mean, they need to give credit where credit is due and if they lose, simply suck it up and deal with it! Bitching about "bad officiating" is just lame.

Yes, I don't like the Pats but I do respect and fear them sometimes when they come into town... they are a very good team. Same with you and the Pats I like the Colts philosophy of "Next man up" and "It's not over till the fat lady sings"
And Brees is just cool... a very genuine and caring person who adopted New Orleans as his own city and made the world a better place.

Yeah I don't like the Colts, but I have a large amount of respect for them, as well as fear when they play the Pats.
In some ways, the Colts and Patriots have similar ethics and characteristics. But overall, they are two drastically different teams that have each found their own way to dominate.
Brees is awesome! Before the Super Bowl, it was showing his impact on that community and how 9 out of 10 people in New Orleans who approach him on the streets won't say "great game!" or "good luck!". They'll say "thank you for being here." And the whole thing with him and that kid micah... it just proves he's such a genuine guy!
