Name: Raven Desmond
Age: 19
Species: Earth pony w/ unicorns tail
Personality: Usually comes across more dull/emotionless; Finds sarcastic/rude jokes funny; Will do something to someone else for her own benefit; Selfish; Very self-conscious and doubtful; When close to someone, she is actually quite caring and she won't let the person go, for fear of loosing them, she will do anything for them; Naive at some times; Pessimistic;
Likes: Raffles ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°), Sleeping, Harming herself (only small cuts so her fur does end up covering them); Toying with others; Getting things her way; Horror movies/games; Storms/Rain/Night; Starset (band)
Dislikes: Eating; Other ponies managing to toy with her; Smoking/Drinking (has warmed up to drinking but still can't stand smoking); Day; Super optimistic ponies;

Raven came from a broken home, as her father was an alcoholic and her mother was a drug addict, and they abused her. When Raven was little, she never understood what was wrong with her parents, and so she never said anything, as she believed it was completely normal. Only when she was older did she understand, and truly start hiding the fact that she was being abused at home. Raven's own anger often was taken out on other children, and she became a huge bully. Once, when it got so bad that Raven was suspended for a few days, and she was severely beaten. Throughout her teens, she was abused by her parents.
When Raven got into her late teens, she had had enough. She wanted to get free of her abusive parents.
Raven left after her parents went to bed, and came back just before they got up.
When her parents woke up and walked into the kitchen, Raven pulled a gun on them. They did try to put up a fight, but it was no use as her father was in a drunken state and her mother drugged. Raven killed her parents.
Later when detectives and police were investigating the case, of which Raven was the main suspect of, she was taken home with Raffles, one of the detectives, because they still weren't sure if she committed the crime or not, so they were wary. Raven stayed quiet, not talking for awhile. When the main suspect became someone else, Raven started coming out of her shell, and talked with Raffles. She enjoyed talking to someone like her, someone more emotionless, and not so bright and happy all the time. Eventually they became close enough that Raven told Raffles that she did indeed commit the crime, but because Raffles had grown some type of attachment to her, he never turned her in. They soon got close and started dating.

In an alternate universe, Raven and Raffles have a foal named StellaLuna. Raven and Raffles both try to care for her, and give her the life they never had. Stella is a daddy's girl.
(It has to be an AU because in Raven and Raffles's home universe, Raffles is sterile)
