Hey guys, how's it going.

Remember a folder I started back in December of 2019 where I would dedicate the best of the 2010s. Well I haven't kept that promise, but I will revive into something even better. I decided to not just dedicate the 2010s, but also many decades, starting with this piece.

This piece is of Aang from the four part final episode of Avatar: The Last Airbender, titled Sozin's comet. I haven't seen a series finale in a while since Transformers: Prime's last episode back in December, as well as it's movie Predacons Rising. Well, last week, I saw the final episode of Avatar, which is still hands down, in my opinion, the best finale of any cartoon.

I was hesitant on doing this piece, because I was worried i might mess it up. But, despite some flaws, I was very satisfied with it. The moment I added the glow, I knew I had to upload it.

It's funny when you think about a lot of finales nowadays are hit or miss, mostly misses, such as Star Wars: Rise of Skywalker, Game of Thrones (which I haven't seen, but heard it's a letdown), and Star vs the Forces of Evil (also haven't seen, but heard fans hated it). This is because, the way I see it, a finale is always very hard to make.

But Avatar: The Last Airbender, had a finale that practically everyone, including critics and fans, loved. That's because it checked off every part of the list on how to make a series finale.

It was an amazing finale with such epic moments, such as the tearjerking scene where Zuko redeems his uncle, Iroh, Azula's decent into madness after being betrayed by her friends, the return of Bumi, Paaku, ext., Sokka, Toph, and Suki taking out the airships, the final Agni Kai between Zuko and Azula, Katara defeating Azula, and easily the best part, Aang regaining the legendary Avatar State.

I really loved how Aang didn't choose to kill Fire Lord Ozai, but instead take away his firebending, which he learned from the lion turtle, who was voiced by Kevin Michael Richardson, who has also voiced Omega Supreme from Transformers: Animated and Bulkhead from Transformers: Prime. Aang doing this method instead of killing was a part of his character, and the writers knew that was smarted move to do.

I also saw the finale of Transformers: Animated, which later today, I will draw an art piece dedicated to that as well.

Funny, I remember first watching Avatar and TFA back in January, it was very different. Coronavirus wasn't a massive pandemic, we had yet to see Birds of Prey and the Sonic Movie, and we were just enjoying our everyday lives. Now here we are, with me having finished Avatar and TFA, and we are all staying inside to protect ourselves and everyone else from the virus.

It was such a wild ride, and though I can rewatch the shows to relieve the magic, like with Prime, I'm gonna wait for that day to come where I revisit Avatar and TFA.

I really am going miss Avatar: The Last Airbender. It was such a beautiful series, it had great characters, an epic story, and has inspired many fans. It was, and still is, one of Nickelodeon's best shows.

Now the question is what's next, after I upload the Transformers: Animated piece, what am I going to watch.

You'll all have to wait and see.
