THIS EVIL IS ALMOST OVER!!! THANK ALL THE GODS AND ENTITIES IN THE KNOWN UNIVERSE!!!!Don't get me wrong, I love this wig. I think it is coming along so well, but DAMN IT IS IT EVIL!!!!
It is insulation tubes covered in hair, then braided together and hand sewn with fishing line to a self made head harness. The harness is made out of elastic and hot-glued together.
The harness is to be worn under the base wig, over the wig cap. I did it this way so that the heavy braid would not be pulling on the base wig. It really makes the braid much lighter since the support is from around my entire head instead of the wig that is pinned to my hair.
I need to go and buy more flowers, and also bigger ones this time. All that is left is the glueing on of the rest of the flowers, and to style the base wig.
Getting this to Kansas City is another matter entirely. I have to get this to Naka-kon in February. I'm a guest with TakeOne Productions and I'm also doing a couple makeup panels.
