Description An old childhood toy. The Carousel Horse on a spring swing. Since it is old and has been in the back yard for so many years it has neat texture on it.

This is part of a stock art series:

If you wish to use it, you have permission, but you must give credit to me as the photographer: Bryan Crump

I also ask that you have a link back to my portfolio here so that others may find stock photos to use as well.

Some stock will be people, animal, objects, etc.

I would also like to see any work inspired by the use of the images so please email of give a link to the produced work. My intention is to help other artists with reference materials for many things. I will be uploading textures, figure, all sorts of stuff.

Thank you in advance.

Support the artist by buying prints of the stock. I will eventually be offering packs of stock photos.

Sincerely,
Bryan Crump

I remember as a kid, occasionally seeing one of these in someone's back yard and wishing I had one.

I had a plain old swing set, no horse.

I remember playing on one of those in Chattanooga, TN as a young girl before we moved. It was at one of the elementry schools or a playground. It wasn't as detailed, but it was old and was still fun to play on. Wow, just seeing this brought back a wonderful memory....the actual last time was in the autumn season. I was five years old and mom had let me play outside right after church and a few minutes later my grandmother came outside to watch. I can feel that horse swing motion right now. I can smell the metal and I can hear the creaking sound it made. I can feel the crisp; cool air in my long hair. Mother was wearing a blue dress and heavy coat to match. It was only a few months before we had to move to New Orleans or...this memory took place in New Orleans a few months after we moved, not sure, but the memory is still there, fuzzy and slowly fading, but still there. Thanks for helping me with that.
