I'm trying to work on an Invader Zim AU because that enter the florpus hype had me re-living all my really old IZ ideas and hardcore old OC flashbacks.

None of these are OCs, they're just random blank characters to represent how I interpret the Irken society. In my personal distinctions I made "Tallest" and "Almighty Tallest" two separate things. Whereas Elites would take important roles as generals and overseeing specific projects, I would imagine the Tallest of the Elite would rule over entire planets within their conquered land.

I want to write out a whole plan, like how the switching over of positions works, but rambling about pieces of my idea isn't too helpful here.

In order, from top to bottom we have:

-Control Brains: What basically runs their entire lives. It decides the future, it's judge and jury, it's the collective history of their race.

-Almighty Tallest: The tallest individuals within their generation. Held in highest esteem. Dictator like, with the exception of following the Control Brain's decisions. Once the current Almighty Tallest somehow lose their position (death, disappearance, deficiency), the next generation's tallest individual will take position.

-Tallest (Of Elite): The tallest members of society who happen to be just short enough not to compete with being THE tallest. They rule large fleets, capture planets, colonies, and other important duties- with the exception of having to listen to the Almighty and Control Brains.

- Elite: Typically tall, but there are exceptions. Elites who are Elite through height have positions of generals and individual ship captains. Smaller Irkens like Soldiers/Slave-drivers, Scientists, Invaders, Navigators, etc. can earn the status of Elite through excellent work and over achieving. Short Elites are respected by those of equal height, smaller height, and slightly taller height- but tend to still work in their field. They are still looked down upon by taller Elites. Civilians cannot become Elites.

- Soldiers and Slave-drivers: Average size Irkens who are large/tall enough to perform rigorous physical activities and tasks but not so tall to where such activities are viewed as inappropriate for status. Are the brute, muscle. Can be guards and help keep captive slave species under control.

- Specialty Smalls: Smaller Irkens who passed specialized tests that separate themselves from regular "useless" civilians. These range from Invaders to Navigators, Scientists, and Engineers.

- Civilian: Small Irkens given lesser jobs, typically located on the home planet of Irk.

- Drones: The smallest Irkens and sometimes those who are serving out a punishment. These Irkens perform the most embarrassing, dirty, and unwanted tasks. Examples would be food service worker, personal service drone, and janitor.
