What are Husks?
Husks are a result of an Aphex or Dephx that has come into contact with a mysterious red fruit found only in the deepest of forests. These berries are so rare that Aphex have barely any records of it's existence except for the illness it causes. In order to become potent the juice of the Berry must be injected into the bloodstream or through cuts. Simply skin contact will not yeild results. Those infected begin with high temperatures, constant sweating and breathing problems that migrate to an enflamed chest and eyes. Once the metamorphosis is completed the Aphex describes a sense of peace and harmony. All internal organs have hollowed out to allow for an accumulation of "firey" blood in the chest, creating a bright glowing like above. Bones remain unharmed yet blood sits around 60-80degrees on average. Aphex that have FTD can experience burst of emotions that result in higher temperatures which can harm others and objects in the vicinty. They do not lose any senses while infected, in fact describe a higher sense of living, as if every experience is amplified. FTD causes almost immortality as Husks can not die from most wounds and in fact barely feel pain.

Flame Tree Disorder
There are a few symptoms that define an Aphex with FTD. Dark or almost black coat, an eternal flame around their eyes and a bright glowing in their chest. Due to the rarity of this illness and it's inability to spread Aohex society do not fear it or it's victims. In fact some Aphex choose to seek after this Berry and infect themselves to gain immortality or escape from mortal irritations like pain and stress.
