Not only did I not realize Lanette lacked official art, there is next to no way of knowing what she looks like. I prefer to go by official designs as much as possible so using Pokesho art was out of the picture. So what I did was, I realized that in ORAS, trainers had decent "sprites", decent enough to get an idea of what they're wearing. Combine that with that one Pokemon card of her at her computer, I managed to put this together though I'm pretty sure she wears some sort of loafer and not shoes with laces.But here ya go, Lanette
And I have made the discovery that the license I was looking for with this sort of thing was creative commons. If you use this picture, make sure to credit me because I drew it.

For how little material there is of this character, you did a REALLY good job with her! And I like how she looks like the anime style and not the ORAS art style. Perhaps you should do other characters with no official art!

I really like this! Great interpretation based on the ORAS model. Actually I do drew Lanette for a collab 2 years ago but I based my drawing on her appearance from the Pokemon Adventures Manga where she seems to be wearing yellow puffy pants and white sandals. This girl definitely deserves official art though. Maybe then more people would draw her?

Thanks, I really appreciate it when comments are insightful and detailed. I'm hoping now that every trainer class is getting official art, that examples like these will be a thing of the past.
I would've used the manga design but they deviated too much and I wanted to stay close to the game design.

No problem at all! I was just glad to see someone else draw Lanette. Same here, though thankfully in later generations the sprites are much clearer so we can generally make out what they're wearing.
True, I would've if I could too. Sadly only a low quality sprite from the gen 3 games or the headshot artwork from TCG were available at the time.

I pictured her shoes being brown mary janes, but other than that this is a damn good representation of her. A really under-appreciated character, and cute to boot.
