TLDR Info on his character:
•Daniel is the leader of the Outrunner group and has the coolest demeanor by far. He stays calm in the face of almost anything.

•His side hustle is minstrelsy, but mostly he's the big guy in the group who slings a huge sword around and keeps everyone on track with the current mission. With two idiots like Alex and Ander and a hothead like Delica around, that alone is a fulltime job.

•Part of why he stays so calm is because he has a reputation he wants to shed. He comes from a family of thieves, scoundrels, and general ne'er-do-wells, the Abernathys. Daniel is the only one of his whole family to try and make something respectable of himself. It's an uphill battle that he takes pride in.
