His main power is telekinetic webbing, able to flow and wrap it around people, able to making it thicker by weaving it, which is how he makes some of his larger webs and traps. He also is a spell caster, able to perform some rather masterful spells. Though, once Ben got his DNA, it was found that his species wasn't naturally magical, instead something The Trader seemed to have taught himself.

Everyone has their own theories behind The Trader's backstory. Some say he is similar to Paradox, having got in an accident that gave him god like powers. Some say he was blessed by Celestialsapiens, most likely for their entertainment. Others say he traded his homeworld and species away to receive his powers to an unknown figure. But these are only stories....

Based on a passing comment, The Trader is genderfluid, having mentioned being a woman, nonbinary and so on, previously in life. Though it appears they take a few years to switch genders, case in point by the time the next gen series roles around, The Trader now goes by female pronouns. Their pronouns also seem to change based on whatever universe they're in at times.

The Isty Bitsy Spider song seems to be their favourite, often humming it when working, or creating web patterns. Apparently he likes the idea of humans making songs about spiders.

The Trader has appeared in other universes, including Ben 23's world. However, it is unknown if these are alternate versions of him, or if it's the one person and is able to jump worlds, since they all look and speak the same, yet also don't give away the truth.

He has met both Eon and Paradox, with Paradox and him being quite civil and like chatting from time to time, with Eon being one of his biggest clients.

The Trader thinks Ben is a charming person, an enjoys seeing all the events he gets crossed into, finding the young lad to be fascinating. Ben on the other hand...is kind of uneasy around The Trader. Doesn't know exactly how to think or feel about him.

Despite how open with his offers he may seem, he does have his limits here and there. Even has a black list for people he won't serve.

The one item The Trader will never seem to trade is an old gemstone necklace he has, as it seems precious to him. But, like always with him, no one knows why.
