hey guys! so plugging away at the brooch maker...doing a little bit at a time whenΒ i can stand to do the repetitiveness...so i figured about time to show some of the progress i've made! a couple of obvious new things in the maker, and playing with the random color picker.^^ still have a LOT of work to do though...and a couple new ideas i'm going to try out.debating if i want to add in a Cosmos symbol or not....would there be much demand for it? but i am still taking requests for items in the brooch maker! give me a holler and i'll see if i can add it in.^^ ultimate brooch maker FTW!

This may sound silly but, have you thought about a brooch option that lets place two moons Β over a winged star?

It is possible to use the up and down crescent bases with the star bases! I think the layering would work for that kind of design.^^

Question: Would there be a rose that could be in the center? Kind of like where the crescent moon is on this one? Just curious. If there isn't, I can work around it. Still, quite impressed with all of this. Looking forward to getting to play around with it.

well there is not a rose option, though admittedly it is a bit tempting....i could put in an option for a small, medium and largeΒ rose in the center of the brooches. i'll think about it!^^ i'm glad you're looking forward to it though! although release is a bit delayed, as i and the background artist are taking a bit of a break.

yes you are correct about the toggling of options! little spoiler there are currently five menu tabs: Bases, Trims, Wings, Decoration, and Background.
i'm thinking maybe i should indeed do the butterfly wings...it'll just be a lot of options cause lots of colors in butterfly wings..XD suppose i'll have to pick a style and go with it!

yes, there is a 5 point star brooch base, trims, and center gem coming. i HAD thought about Kakyuu's flower symbol. i'm still a bit on the fence about it...but i probably will end up doing it.

i'd make sure you add some 'common' shapes, like cat eye designs and stuff. Β i think this idea is just totally awesome! Β i can see the fun of it, that's for sure! Β and the work you're putting in is awesome, too.

..............i have no idea.^^0 i'm currently working on center gems, aside from fixing other stuff, which is 8 styles for each of the bases...i'm not even done with the Round bases gems yet. that's not even to mention anything else i may come up with to add, or someone else comes up with.

Hot damn, that's some design! I'd say try the Cosmos symbol to see how difficult it would be to render, and if it's just too much, then let it go unless there are requests, then bring in help.

it's not THAT difficult...it's just 10 more files i have to draw up and code. it's just a lot of effort that i don't want to be wasted...i wish i could get more opinions on stuff that people want to see...people have been talking forever about a brooch maker, and i want it to be something everyone can use in the sailor moon community, like the senshi doll maker.
