That's All FolksSo as you can probably gather, I'm officially quitting DeviantArt. I mean, I don't have to but it feels appropriate if I do, and I have a lot to say too so might as well Around June 2017, I made my first account on DeviantArt account ever, a month later I got banned from that account because the folks at DA found out I was too young to have an account here and banned me, in hindsight I probably should taken this as a sign to not continue with a DA account til I was at least 13, but I didn't, and y'know I'm kinda glad I didn't, after two more accounts that I abandoned for this account, I can saftely say that making my og account changed my life for the better, that sounds critically online for me to say but I mean it. Making that account set off a domino effect to where I met some of the greatest people I know just by chance, I mean this with absolute certainty but I genuinely believe that I wouldn't even be ALIVE by now if it wasn't for this website. So it goes without saying that this website meant a lot to me even for the mistakes it had. And that is probably the reason why I held off leaving for so long. You probably don't need me to say this but DeviantArt has been going in a downward spiral for a long while now. I won't list all of them off because it is a lot and I don't want to get into it but, it's just been very disheartening to see this website's downfall, and I can't bring myself to support this website anymore, even if it means quitting. Does that mean that I'll never come back to DeviantArt? probably not. there is a chance I could return, it has happened before, but at least for now I don't see it happening anytime soon So yeah, that's pretty much it, I don't really know how to end this, so I guess I'll thank everyone who's following me now, ya'll have no idea how much every follow means to me. I'll also have to thank everyone who inspired me to make art, and the people I met on this website back at the beginning, I won't say names cuz I'm mutuals with some of them and, to be honest, I'm a little embarrassed, but if you know who you are just know that you mean the world to me That's all I wanted to say, thank you to everybody who supported me, and I hope I get to see you on the other side.
