No joke. This happened this afternoon while trying to convert one of my 100 themes into a comic.I've been thinking of making my next chapter into a comic... It's been in my head for days, but I have very little experience in manga-making. I tend to be afraid to draw something if I think I don't have the skill to draw it as I imagined... Am I the only one that runs into this issue?
On the bright side, I can now use screentones.

I swear, it's too sad. One of the worst combinations are when you have the art block and owe commissions to people during one of the most hectic times in school xD.

Ooh, that is a nasty combination. Then again, I feel like requests don't draw on my creativity much, since I seem to be able to pump those out no problem, compared to pumping out stuff on my own characters. It's sad, really.

Ah. For me, it's not so much art block as it is my drawing style breaking down to the molecular level and reconstructing itself into something slightly different. I hate those transitional phases where it feels like I can't draw ANYTHING right.

Exactly. It happens when I try to draw some characters, too. For instance, Kent looks too cheesy at one point, and too girly at another. I can't draw her as I anticipated.

This is me and actions shots, as well as perspective and pretty much everything. Kind of frustrating because I have the entire story plot in my head, but I can't bloody draw it properly!Β

Well there was this show, then I started buying their comics...the story is that 5 girls found out that they are guardians of elements and have to keep secret about a magical world which keeps spamming monsters into earth.
I can't give you much of a summary, but it's really thrilling. I'm still frustrated they cut off the comic shipment in my country -_-

That's why I tend to doodle all over my physics papers. xD But yeah, I hate that problem, I'm always worried I may mess up. That was my issue with watercolors.
