This is for the contest of and the theme is The big four in Hogwarts (you knowβ¦Merida, Hiccup, Rapunzel, and Jack xD)Although they aren't yet there... but are coming in their first year!

This is a quick painting and experiment with many textures... not as I expected but I hope you like it!
the boy behind Hiccup I guess his family is Muggle... the poor child is in shock xD

This piece is stunning! I love the expressions on their faces, expecially Merida's and Rapunzel's, you can actually see the excitement on their faces!
This drawing reminds me a lot of the lanterns in the tangled movie and when I saw the thumbnail that was the first thing I thought!
You also did an amazing job with the coloring and the shadows on them.
Just one thing: the boats are too small and they look like they have short legs or something...
Overall it is a really good drawing of the Big Four Hogwarts AU and one of my favourite pieces of art!

let's see.... I'm going to go with the first thing I can think so Iβll not do a great analysis xD
what rapunzel's parents did was basically a potion, so they must have some knowledge of magic 
of all of them jack is the most "normal" in their life, or at least in his life before being a spirit of course, Iβll say he's a mudblood but maybe one with great power. I donβt remember much the stories of this AU that explained why Jack had white hair but I think it was by a great occult powerβ¦
ok hiccupβ¦ his mother knows how to master dragons, he lives in a place obviously full of dragons Β but they all fear him (at least in the first movie xD) mmmm could it be a mixed village? β¦I don't believe because the status of the secret haha... I donβt know, I'm going to go with that hiccup is a pureblood.
and merida is difficult, I like to imagine her as a half-blood and that her mother is a witch and her father a muggle because if his father were a wizard he could undo the elinor's spell, but if she is the witch, being trapped in the shape of a bear makes sense that she cannot undo it by herself hehe
and well those are my thoughts
obviously in an AU their stories would be different from as it happened in their films, but what better to use that as a reference haha XD

I love the expressions. Β The feeling of fear, but also of excitement, is definitely there in this picture, which is the case for a lot of first year students. Β Hogwarts knows I felt it during my first year of high school, and then of college.

Aww, Hiccup looks all gawky and young. Jack is looking surprisingly beautiful in the moonlight, and Merida reminds me somehow of Ginny - innocently happy, maybe? Rapunzel, too, bears a slight resemblance to Ikki.
