They saw terrible things. They did terrible things. Memories, haunting them, mistakes they made, the beloved ones they lost.But they were the happy ones. Because they were allowed to die. Leaving to a place, were their memories couldn't follow, leaving them all behind.
The happy ones.
Fox eyes are cruel. Oh, how cruel they are.

"Remain" - the poem especially moved me, the combination of pic and poem was powerful - to me it describes the essence of war.
"Once" - One of the most touching if not the most - tender, beautiful painting and the idea is so bittersweet - it is beautiful to long for love even though it may make us sad.

This is incredible! Everything blends so well, yet sticks out by itself so much, I love how in your works, even the tiniest details can be seen and understood. The way the skull seems to be glowing, with the fox dimly in the background, is stunning.

This is really intriguing and creepy. I love the sadness of the fox and the malicious happiness of the grinning skeleton. The short bit of prose in the Author's Comments section was really interesting as well. Are you planning to write a story or something on this subject? I'd definitely read it.
