This was done with watercolour and charcoal. It was done as part of a project in which my group were all given a different word, and assigned to make a series of images based around that word. My word was 'close' (which could be close as 'close to you' or as in 'closed door'), and this image of a caged beast was designed to represent 'enclosed'. The submitted version had the 'bars' cover over it (glued only at the top so that it could be flipped up in order to view the drawing clearly if desired), but I've submitted the 'unbared' version simply because I prefer it.
