Its a very interesting piece of work for sure!
I am not too sure about the colours you have used too, they seem a little too unnatural for my personal taste, but if you like them, then that is fine
I would try to work on the skin a little, it is too unnatural still, it could use more textures, I think. (not only at the dark points, but only at the light ones)
I like the composition of the image though and the eyes are gorgeous too!

I see your point on the colors and when I get back to this piece (I don't feel like its finished yet) that's probably one of the first things I'll address after going over the hair and skin.
which brings us to the skin, which I'll refine for sure. You bring up a good point with the lighter areas, it looks somewhat artificial.
