Description Giant Rats are one of the more well known monsters in the fantasy genre, so much so they're probably not used by many DM's in campaigns, or a a bit more generic to the more practiced player that it's a bit grating to see them. So I decided to put a bit of a twist on them by creating a variant that has control over a particular element and even access to a spell! Sure they might just be a giant right that can shoot lightning, but that's still a rat that can shoot lightning.

I designed these guys to be thrown into small groups of Giant Rats, about one for every three regular giant rats, but they can be used as however the DM see's fit. Testing them out, they can also serve as moderate annoyances for players up to around Level 5 or 6, though they can be easily one-shotted by characters any more powerful then that. Still, a rat sneaking up on you and blasting you with holy energy can always be a fun surprise!

As always, thanks for any and all favorites, comments, and ect.

D&D belongs to Wizards of the Coast and Giant Rats belong to...Fantasy, I guess?
