Nice work! May I ask, what is the height of this modell? Actually I'm interested to convert one into a Daemon prince (WH40k universe), and I looking for a similar (but cheaper) modell.

He's a little shorter than the 40K Prince. Maybe 2 1/2 to 3 inches at the tallest tip of his spine if I recall correctly.

Actually, I just used layers of a few different shades of gray. I do drybrush sometimes, but if I have appropriate colors, I just layer 'em ^_^

I like your scheme better than the official one - it doesn't look so lopsided and silly. Good work, this does indeed look like a fun model to paint - lots of definition on the model itself.
Hmm... I've had a two-month vacation from painting, maybe it's time to dive in again. *scurries off*
