The most expressive thing I do in my life is snowboarding. It is the best creative outlet I have. There is an amazing freedom to snowboarding that nothing else can match. Snowboarding is art. This shot is of me at Grand Targhee Ski Resort this past winter.Related content

Oh man, do I know the feeling! I picked up snowboarding last year and it quickly became one of the most passionate things I do. Snowboarding is an art.

I`ve seen some tons of boarding pictures in my life but this is simply just stunning! Not about the scenery but just pure snowboarding and powder!

I can honestly relate to everything you have just said there. im a snowboarder, its my life. i have a season pass every year and like 20 minutes from a ski hill in northern BC. im training to become an olympic athlete. that pure joy and calmness you feel when cruising through 2 ft of fresh powder, some great music to go with it, and living in the moment. total BLISS.

I have to agree. Great shot of you in the POW. I'm trying to get alittle video footage of the snowboarders around here in WI. I'm actually working it out with my school, and if the chase comes, I'll be shooting (or atleast helping) in a DC board video within the next 2 years.

i had to add this to my faves because 1 its a great shot and 2 the comment you put for the picture are everything i felt when i went boarding. thats a truley heartfelt speach and i could feel our passion for boarding while reading it. ii absolutly love this picture.

I completely agree with you about snowboarding. Its one of the few things in life that I will enjoy until I physically cant do it anymore. Theres such a feeling of freedom that comes with it. Nice shot, must have been a great day.
