Was a pretty quick sketch, but before this had been literally years since I'd drawn a bird along these lines, and I had a lot of fun doing it.---

What a sweet face! Is Pionus the name of this particular bird, or just this species/breed?

Pionus is the name of the genus, this one in particular is a blue-headed pionus. Particularly attached to them as my sister had one when I was younger.
