i literally dmed Sock at 8 PM the night before he uploaded the mod to ask him if i could do the thumbnail art and then spent ~12 hours completely improvising on the grind to get this in for the upload time.

This render required a decent chunk of compositing to look decent because I simply did not have time to fully reacclimate to working in Blender all at once and had to photoshop the blemishes away. Yeah I did this with no practice. I have no idea how the hell I finished it at all.

I nabbed the mouth from a Sonic and The Black Knight wallpaper because the mouth rig wasn't looking good. I had to cut off a massive chunk of his cheek because his face didn't look round at this camera angle for some reason. And I had to airbrush out the buttbrow. I also had to repaint his right elbow because the lighting made it look really weirdly shaped.

The font featured in this thumbnail is "Vipnagorgialla", famously used for the UI in Sonic Adventure 2, but the coloring and stroke of the text is a replica of the Sonic 06 logo. "Clip to below layer" is quickly becoming one of my favorite utilities in ClipStudioPaint. That aside I had to pass this rapidly between Paint.NET and CSP to access different varieties of photoshopping procedures... if i could find CSP plugins I'd download dozens of them just to stop dealing with this.

His backspines and tail are pretty scuffed here but I have to promise myself to stop working on this or else I will go crazy.
