Pt.1 of the image I am working on: Here is the finished piece[LINK]This is Geralt of Rivia. The lead character from the game The Witcher, and the books that is was based on.
The Witcher is hands down my favorite RPG and the character is very intriguing.
Pencils on the paper.
PS: rendering (in pencil) someone soaked standing in the rain is way harder than I imagined, but I think it's working out so far...

Most amazing is what you did with his shirt. You made it really wet.
I love character of Geralt, but I don't like the way he looks like in Witcher game.

When I saw your featured pictures on your dA page, this is the first thing that grabbed my attention. I think because of all the detail, even in the thumbnail I could tell it would be something good.
I think you not only captured the rain-on-a-character part, but also did a great job with all the details and shading as well.
I think it would be cool to see this CG-ed up and pretty with color and a rainy background.
When I look at this, I'm thinking of earth-like tones, blues, tans, and rain drops suspended in air as they fall on him. It just seems like the natural way this would be colored.

Thanks, though I'm not in a coloring mood. Still, maybe you can imagine what I described. Did it sound fitting?
Not trying to push you to color it, as that's totally up to you and what you want for the piece. It's just a thought.
