Nice I still trying to collect all the new series 5" daleks but not reconizing the Dalek X AKA black with gold slats and balls one. Where that one come from for besides the "metaltron" one with the hand print and the New Dalek Paradigm "tubby-lek" that one I think I need to hunt down for my collection. Also is it 2005 "Time war" mold or 2007 "New Dalek Empire" mold?

The Dalek with the black and gold slats is one of the first Daleks to be released in 2005 as part of a remote control Battle pack with another Dalek and The 9th doctor or Rose figure.

Thanks. Took bit of time find it much less with the remote. The remote tricky to use.

Nice I still saving for the 18" one while I repair my 12" one. I find it funny the rumor the 12" ones was actually used in the show. ^_^

Sicarius2 In reply to CyberDrone [2010-07-24 11:51:48 +0000 UTC]

yeah! the new ones are ok.. they still look daleky but they just don't have as a great a dalek factor as the old ones..

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

CyberDrone In reply to Sicarius2 [2010-07-24 15:35:10 +0000 UTC]

yeaj i'm ok with the new dalek designs myself! i mean the daleks have changed in the series history and i always remember the old Moives ones too!

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

Sicarius2 In reply to CyberDrone [2010-07-25 10:09:44 +0000 UTC]

Yeah they're good! only i don't get why they fire steam.. instead of death rays i quite liked the way the dalek weapons fired in the old series turning the screen into negative.. portrayed being zapped quite well!

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

CyberDrone In reply to Sicarius2 [2010-07-25 14:38:50 +0000 UTC]

yeah was abit odd with the fire coming out! hehe yep the old flashes and Negative look was good! they still do that really now. just not the whole screen, just the dudes getting zapped!

CyberDrone In reply to Sicarius2 [2010-07-29 13:48:36 +0000 UTC]

Sicarius2 In reply to CyberDrone [2010-07-30 14:22:11 +0000 UTC]

Aww, not cool.. :/ in fact i think it was my uncle who introduced me to Dr Who when i was 5 years old.. he's got loads of dvds and things

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

CyberDrone In reply to Sicarius2 [2010-07-30 16:02:16 +0000 UTC]

hehe cool! well i did record a few episodes off the TV at the time! like the 5 Doctors when it aired! then in the 90's they repeated them on sat TV. still got some of my old VHS ones i bought! although i am trying to get them one DVD now! hehe

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

Sicarius2 In reply to CyberDrone [2010-07-31 12:48:16 +0000 UTC]

Lol i wish i could have seen the classics when i was growing up.. well the new ones are ok but you can't beat the classics.. shame i was born in the 90's when dr who was at its all time low.. :/ i've got the five doctors on dvd, its really good! i think you can have the option to change the settings so the classics have CGI on some of th dvds..

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

CyberDrone In reply to Sicarius2 [2010-07-31 14:49:35 +0000 UTC]

yeah the 1990s were a wasteland for new Doctor Who on TV. just the TV Movie. i was born in the mid 1970s so had it on TV for most of my childhood!

Yeah i got that 5 Doctors DVD too!!

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

Sicarius2 In reply to CyberDrone [2010-07-31 16:18:58 +0000 UTC]

Yeah, the movie was ok.. it was odd.. being abit americanised but its still Dr Who.. Yeah, whos your fav doctor? my dad was born mid 60's and Jon Pertwee is his fav doctor

It's awesome isn't it? shame william hartnell didn't live to see it but Richard Hurndell was a more than perfect Dead Ringer for him
