This was not what he had expected and this was not what he had been made to believe.
Not at all.
For many years, generations upon generations...
eons in fact his people, his ancestors had been made to believe, made to hear about the numerous and unforgivable evils of the world above the surface. They had been told and retold the story of their expulsion.
They were told the stories of the lush and warm green earth. Of the days when their people, before their transformation, before their de-evolvement lived in the open air of the above world. Until that is another group on men, the humans with their greedy and their heartless and subversive ways, turned on their ancient forbearers. How these...monsters went to war with the early humanoids. Murdered them by the thousands. Defeated them and sent the humanoids into their underground exile...
As a child he lived to fear of the over world and its monstrous humans.
As an adult he was ready and eager to serve in the promised invasion of the surface world.
He looked forward to the conquest...
...to the vengeance long aver due.
But when a spy, an advanced scout returned from the above with some trinket from that evil world Cvyr was not prepared for what he saw that day.
They were some sort of toys. Beautifully crafted...
...toys. Surely these were not the sort of things that a race of evil monsters would create...?
Curious he decided, against the rules and orders of his leaders, to investigate this over world to see if there was something more to these much maligned humans. Were they really the monsters that he had been told of, or was there something more...

At the end of the movie, she spawns the offspring....kinda all 'Alien-like,' it would be kinda cool to see a humanized cute fish-girl with gills, & webbed hands/feet sort of along the lines of the Gill-Man's niece Lagoona!!
