Description A quick creature sketch.

Added 2/2/09:

This is one of the very first pieces I put in my gallery back in ’04. The creature design itself came from what little I remembered from a dream one night, but my dreams are probably also influenced by all the sci-fi stuff I watch. I drew it as a quick experiment with various shades of grey markers. I was experimenting with different shading methods at the time, and I like the effect the markers created. This is why this piece was put in my scraps section and has been there for four years.

Anyway, the reason I’m writing this is because I’ve decided to move it to my gallery. This little creature that came from a dream is my most favored piece. As I write this it is in the collections of 72 people. My gallery’s number one slot right now is one of my Hinata fanarts which is favored by 62 people. And, second place goes to one of my Cortana fanarts. Because he was basically a test piece, I never thought this little guy belonged in my gallery. But, it dawned on me recently that my most favored pieces are all fanarts, and this creature (which beats them all) was 100% my own creation. So, I think it’s time he took his rightful place.

Thank you. I guess a better way of putting it is this was a piece used to practice my technique with markers. Keep working hard and I guarantee it will pay off.
