Background History: Paislee was born in the Northern and more rural parts of Colorado, in the US. Her mom is from America, while her dad is an immigrant from Kyoko. From a young age, she has enjoyed playing the video games with her dad. Paislee was about 7 years old when she moved to Sapporo with her family. It was a new place and her Japanese wasn’t the best, so she was sort of a social outcast in her neighborhood and at school. You’d most likely find her either reading or playing video games over going outside. That is, before she was introduced to her neighbor, Kyou Fujibayashi. At first, the two didn’t seem to get along too well, but Paislee found herself going back to see Kyou often. The girls became quite attached to each other and Paislee was quickly breaking out of her shell. However, they didn’t get to see each other too often at school because Kyou was a year older than Paislee. She entered high school earlier than Paislee, so their close knitted relationship hindered a bit over that year. But once Paislee finally came to the high school, the bonds were easily restored, but since Kyou is in a different social group than her, it wasn’t quite as strong as before.

At first, they really didn’t get along too well. They weren’t very similar and more like opposites. However, Paislee enjoyed Kyou’s company a lot, and same for Kyou. They began to hang out together more often and soon became close friends all throughout junior high. It was unlike Paislee to be so open-minded, but it was Kyou that really helped her come out of the shell she was living in for so long. When Kyou was in her last year of junior high, Paislee started to feel something different between them. It was more similar to love than friendship, or at least that's what she believed. Because of Kyou’s boost to Paislee’s courage, Paislee was able to confess her feelings towards her friend. The girl was a bit surprised, but she accepted and the two became a couple. They are very close now and they are always hanging together when they’re not with the members of their social groups.
