The September theme for the monthly challenge at Runtime DNA is "Landscape Portrait", meaning do a portrait in a landscape orientation. As you can tell from my last three deviations, I've been getting in the portrait mood, so to speak...lol

I'm still on the fence about entering this one - I don't know if I'd consider her an intimate portrait - but whether I do or not, she's my current fav! Nightsong's feathered mask is stunning, and with a little photoshop, Flame's feathered corset goes perfectly!

I'm calling this "Of the Earth II" as a call-back to one of my old watercolor paintings of the Elements...I always loved that piece.
