** Update**

I finally bought myself a proper inkers brush pen and this was the first picture I had to turn my hand to, I think it turned out pretty well, spent the better part of 2 days on it. Hope y'all like, should anyone wish to colour feel free to contact me for the full res copy

I started this after reading into the Scandanavian origins of my surname, the whole "two S thing", this then got me onto Norse Mythology and Thor is just such a fantastic character, despite Marvel's influence. I tried to incorporate more of the mythology side into this, mainly in, a) the centre piece on his helmet, is the original symbol for 'Mjolnir' or 'Thor's Hammer, as it's outside of the mythos. Also, the runes around the band of his helmet read 'Odinson'. The final piece I added was the rune to his belt. It is called 'Ansuz' meaning God hood, power, authorative figure, and is most commonly associate with Odin
